At Southern Window Treatments, we offer the entire selection of Hunter Douglas Design Studio™ Drapery and Side Panels. These fabric window treatments create a sense of layered design and warmth in your home and are especially great in a bedroom or as a statement living room window treatment.
There are several things about our drapery selection that sets it apart.
Curated Fabric Collection
All of our fabrics are top quality and will look beautiful in your home. Sheer curtains are perfect for creating a softly filtered glow in a bedroom or kitchen. Solid bright colors can brighten up a room and draw attention to the windows. Textured fabrics add dimension and depth to your windows. Patterns draw the eye and create beautiful backdrops and artwork in your home. We even have textiles from top designers like Rebecca Atwood, Marcie Bronkar, and Seema Krish. Our collection also includes specialized performance fabrics. These durable fabrics are designed specifically to resist stains and UV rays. This makes them great for high-traffic areas and even outdoor locations.
A Layered Look
Side panels are stationary and specifically designed to be paired with other window treatments. Our Roman shades and roller shades are available in matching fabrics so you can create unified layered window treatments. Side panels help elongate the windows and stop any light leakage from the sides of the shades and blinds. Our drapery can also be layered over blinds or shades for an extra layer of insulation and light control.
Automation
Our Design Studio™ Drapery can be equipped with PowerView® automation, allowing you to control your curtains from anywhere in the world. Your drapes are controlled via a smartphone app, a remote control, or your existing smart home system. PowerView® can also open and close your drapes at specific times of the day or for specific activities. The system isn’t just for your drapes either; if you choose to layer your drapes over another window treatment, those shades or blinds can also be controlled by PowerView® automation.
Pillows
All of our drapery fabrics can also be made into 22-inch square or 12-inch by 16-inch rectangular pillows. These matching accent pillows are a great addition to your bedroom or your living room. You can also choose to make pillows from a complimentary fabric or even several different fabrics to create a fun look throughout your home.
